Business Development Manager – East London

This position is with WP part of Moove Europe. WP are a progressive and expanding energy company, specialising in the supply of high quality fuels. The Head Office is based in Southampton.
Holding a substantial market share in the sectors and geographies we are based, WP Group is one of the UK’s most differentiated fuels companies with a focus on sustainability and future energy solutions.
Due to team expansion we are looking for you to join our sales team as a Business Development Manager to build existing and new business in East London.
You will be home-based for 1 -2 days a week. The rest of your time will be spent travelling around East London visiting construction sites, facilities management companies, data centres etc. You will have a base of existing clients but you will also be identifying new markets for the sale of our premium fuels.
You will be dealing with a wide variety of people from those based on site to attending corporate company meetings.
You will be building your own client base dealing with “on the spot sales” as well as managing tenders for longer term business.
Proven business development / sales experience.
Experience developing relationships
Ability to prioritise and be proactive
Experience with tenders desirable.
Fuels experience or experience in our target markets highly desirable.
Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Working days are Monday to Friday and as standard 8.30- 5.30 however hours vary for the team in the winter and summer months so you will need to be on call.
